On 3 March 2016 Piotr Gliński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage awarded six Polish film editors with the Gloria Artis Medal for Contributions to Culture at the Ministry of Culture. They are: Agnieszka Bojanowska, Halina Prugar-Ketling, Ewa Różewicz, Ewa Smal, Jarosław Barzan and Cezary (Czarek) Grzesiuk. The medals were awarded after a proposal by the Polish Association of Film Editors, for the editors’ contributions to Polish culture and their artistic achievements.
It’s a great honour to be among such outstanding artists, co-creators of Polish cinematic art.
The Gloria Artis Medal
The Gloria Artis Medal for Contributions to Culture is a Polish government award given by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage to individuals or institutions with outstanding achievements in the fields of creative art, culture and preservation of culture and national heritage.
